circa 1920 and probably German, with tapering octagonal 27 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed ramp fore-sight, tangent rear-sight operating on a raised dove-tailed rail, machine engraved surface to the top-flat, plain slab-sided hammerless action marked 'LUCA' in small to top-left corner, top-tang factory fitted with pan-headed aperture sight, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock with raised sculpted cheek-piece, double set triggers, the bow operating as the under-lever for opening, walnut splinted fore-end with schnabel tip and small chequered panel to underside, iron swivels and barrel and receiver fitted with bases only for a claw-mount
